I agree that your dog is grieving over it's friend and doesn't understand why the other dog is no longer there. Some get over it quickly others don't. I think perhaps another dog introduced into the family might help but I would ask my vet his opinion first before getting one. Not really. If your voice has dropped due to puberty, you have an advantage because you can now hit lower notes. To hit high ones now, you have to use falsetto (or straining of the vocal cords). Hope I could help. :D

I have a home blood pressure monitor, Omron. In March/April it was very high due to excessive drinking. As high as 160/90. Im only 19 years old by the way, just turned 19 in March. But anyway, since ive became pregnant (NOT A RANDOM DRUNKEN PREGNANCY BY THE WAY!; im in a long term relationship with a wonderful man) and stopped drinking my blood pressure has been usually in the range of 123/89 to 110/60. Anyway, just took it and it was 110/51, i know the bottom number is lower than recommended, is this bad? And also, can pregnancy cause your blood pressure to lower? Turn Win 7 laptop into a wireless hotspot?

i have been trying all software that deal with internet sharing via wireless adapter, ranging from Connectify, VirtualAP, Dell Laptop to Hotspot Converter and some plenty more but I still fail to get the effect i need. am using Dell Latitude D63o with Win 7 Ultimate SP1 installed, for my internet am using a Huawei E220 3G Modem provided by Zain (now Airtel) with unlimited access. When I tried using Connectify, it kept on conflicting with the modem drivers, the remaining software don't seem to find my internet connection, I only get a '' on the internet connection display box so i cant share a connection through any of the remaining software. using Windows 7 Adhoc networking is also so inconvenient because whenever i protect my connection with a password, other computers fail to establish full connectivity ( i only manage to share internet connection when the connection is insecure). Please help in finding a software to turn my windows 7 laptop into a wireless hotspot hosting an encrypted connection and capabilities for other computers to establish full connectivity.

We've been together for 15years and been married for nearly 12years have 2 boys 11years and 6years. Neighbours complaing about dogs barking?

So we have 2 dogs. Jack Russell Collie cross. 3 years old. They are well behaved apart from the barking which is NOT excessive. They only bark when people come to the door or walk past the gate which we have tried to cover up so they can't see but just always seem to sense them still! When there are birds in the garden and when a cat is there which is understandable. Also there are dogs either side of us which bark and set each other off so i can't help that. But when ever they do bark its for no more than 10 seconds as we get them inside or tell them no. And the funny thing is she moans about dogs barking and decided to get one her self a few weeks ago. She lives opposite us so our fence is her fence as well where he dog goes up and makes ours bark. We have taken into consideration the times they bark and stuff its not like we just leave them barking. Chipper Jones was in fact was a FA in my league, then picked up later, however, Jones will not be able to keep producing the way he does in the long run. This trade is not balanced at all as it does not consider the possibility of Crawford being a legitimate and productive player later in the season. My instincts would to be to wait on Crawford, his average has risen from .150 to .200 in 6 games, which is a complete turnaround, as well as signs of him heating up, as he heats up, Boston as a team will get better as well. Crawford is still legitimate. Gardner and Freeman are having tough times now, try to trade Gardner away deceptively if you can, he wont be a big contributor I think. If anything, you should be asking for a lot more talented players from the opposition.

Your plan for exposing her to the carrier is a good one. Don't feed her before the flight - maybe just a biscuit. voice type is more about tone than voice range. you're probably a baritone, tenor, or maybe in between. when you sing the F2, is it actually clear, or is it airy, raspy, and quiet? because if you're struggling to hit that F, you can almost guarantee you're not a bass, maybe even baritone. when you sing the B (which would be B5) does it actually sound clear or does it sound pinched and forced unless you're using falsetto? there are a lot of uncertainties without actually hearing your voice, and if you want a more definitive answer, you should ask a voice teacher.

Does your local shelter also have a low cost clinic? Ours does spay/neuters but also offers shots, and if you get them all there is normally a discount. It can get pretty expensive since they will need multiples of most of the shots as they grow up. We went to PetSmart and got on their Wellness plan (cost about $150 upfront) and we pay about $21 a month. It covers all their pup shots, rabies, wellness exams, free office visits unlimited, and the spay/neuter as well. It was way cheaper then the vets in our area and our dog LOVES this vet! Gullible boyfriend targeted by delusional mother?

My boyfriend's mother is delusional, and feeds my boyfriend delusional thoughts. For example, the other day she told him that he was immaculately conceived. She's also told him that she believes he is Christ incarnate. Among many other far-fetched delusions, she's also very paranoid, anti-government, anti-doctors, believes in aliens, believes in all of the end-of-world prophecies, and suffers from what I believe to be undiagnosed mental disorders. My boyfriend is very gullible. I don't think he's delusional like she is, but believes what she tells him. He was home schooled by this woman (who never actually gave him a real education), so he thinks she's full of wisdom and "truth". It drives me crazy. Every time I try to tell him that these ideas are psychotic in nature, he gets really hurt. How do I safely address this situation?

Why won't my dog go to the bathroom outside?

I adopted a 7 month old dog four days ago. She's very smart. She knew 'Sit' and 'Down' when I got her, I taught her to 'Shake' and 'Fetch' in just one day, and she's starting to understand 'Stay'. She also knows what 'No' and 'Come here' mean. Since she's so smart, I can't understand why she won't go to the bathroom outside. The first day I got her, I took her for a long walk and she pooped outside. I was extremely praising and gave her a treat. The second day she was here, I took her to the 'potty zone' behind my house and she pooped after about 20 minutes. Again, I was very praising. She's hasn't peed outside once since I got her, and she's only pooped outside those 2 times. I haven't caught her in the act inside, as she only goes at night. All three nights since I got her, she has both pooped and peed on the floor. I adopted her from a VERY reputable rescue center, and she'd been there since she was a month old. Her and her two brothers came from a hoarding situation and were almost dead from malnourishment and neglect. It took several months for her and one of her brothers to get healthy again. One of the ladies that worked their also happened to foster my dog as she was getting better. She said that while she had never actually been housebroken, she never had any accidents in the weeks that my dog stayed with her. I know it's only been four days, but it's just odd. When I take her out back to go to the bathroom, I repeat 'Go potty, Dewey' to her. When I wake up in the morning, I take her to where she had an accident and tell her 'Go potty outside!' then immediately take her out. I'm not sure what else to do. Any suggestions, tips, or ideas would be very, very appreciated! Thank you!

I installed the game Fetch on my laptop. I played it on my desktop before but it was a few years ago so I forget how to play. Right now, I am 15. I am 5'7 and around 160. I have 3 weeks till my school starts, and I really want to lose weight and slim down. What is causing my wrist pain?

About a week ago, I was doing push ups to prepare for basic training in January when i noticed there was a pain in my right wrist every time I put weight on it. I let off for a few days, and it seems to have gotten about 50% better... but now my left wrist is hurting too. They both have a slight burn on the outside of my hand. My left hand doesn't hurt from weight, it just slightly aches and slightly burns. My right hand still hurts a little when I put my weight on it, and has the same weird burn or tingle on the top of my hand and wrist. I have full range of motion otherwise, and there are absolutely no tinder spots anywhere. I know self diagnosis is bad, but I want to know what I'm up against before I save up the money for a doctor visit. I'm seriously considering doing the SEAL program, so I need this to get better if at all possible. I'm 18, if age is a factor.

Would you favor an optional national sales tax?

It would be totally up to the consumer rather the will pay it or not when they make purchases. Most people would decline but with the easy convenience it would produce more tax revenue by the few giving. It doesnt even have to be a certain rate, consumers can just give their change. It may sound far fetched but its worth a shot and dont underestimate the positive feeling people get when they give which is plenty motivation. Is philosophy really such a touchy subject?

I am very fascinated by psychology and philosophy, but often find it difficult to find others who are open to the subject. This is somewhat frustrating to me because many of my philosophies are related to the human soul and how each one interacts with the other, and how that communication can be used to access anything we want or need in our lives (provided those requests bring no harm to another). My husband is very open to discussion, but we seldom have the time with our busy lives, except perhaps when Morgan Freeman' s "Through the Wormhole" is on the science channel at 10:00 at night, and by then Im too burnt out to discuss it. I try not to come off as sanctimonious when discussing it with friends because one of my biggest morals is that everyone is entitled to believe whatever brings them peace as long as it does not infringe upon the peaceful lives of others. Even still I sense that it makes people uncomfortable, and drives them away reguardless of how clear I make my intent.Is it really that bothersome to hear that kind of talk? I guess I'm just looking for some stimulating philosophical conversation. Just to know that someone else out there "gets it". I believe that I am an old soul, and perhaps I just don't really belong. So, talking more to the pony club mom who is coming to look at my mare - turns out she's not all that interested because she (horse) is "only" 15.3 hh, which is "much too small" for her 13 year old daughter who is "tall for her age"(is this kid the Jolly Green Giant?). She's really wanting my 16.2 hh gelding (who my husband decided not to sell after all - but I would have thought if anything she'd worry he'd be too big and strong for a 13 year old). I thought it might be a concern about ability to jump, but nope - she just says it is a "tiny" horse for such a tall girl who already had to sell her last "pony" because it was also small. So....am I out to lunch or is she REALLY not picturing the size of a 15.3 hh horse? I've always owned horses in about this height range, and my husband (who is 6'2") has always ridden them without looking or feeling ridiculous. Muscles in the foot or something else?

For the last couple weeks, I've had minimal-harsh pain in my foot. It is basically all around the ankle area. Working at a daycare, I am constantly on the run, fetching kids, stopping fights, etc. However I've been working there since December, and this pain just started recently. It is causing me to limp, yet the pain comes and goes (usually just on levels of pain). So in the morning it can be very light to none, during work be minimal to dull, elongated pains, and then leaving work and at home be a harsh long pain. The only way I have combated it is using pain pills and products like icy hot. Could this just be a muscle pain...or something else? Anything else I could try to make the pain go away?

My puppy survived parvo. Now what do I do?

I have a 9 week old pup that had gotten parvo. We nipped it in the bud right away by giving him antibiotics, pedialyte, and force feeding him baby food with puppy vitamins. Its summer here, my friends and neighbors moved away and theres NOTHING TO DO. To make it worse, we put our 13 yr old dog down on Tuesday. It was depresing for everyong. So my dog use to get plenty of exercise but some new people moved into our neighborhood and one has a doberman and the other Alaskan Malamute and since they moved in i haven't been able to walk him because if i walk him one way down the street the Alaskan Malamute jumps the fence and tries to attack us but if i go the other way the doberman does the same. So he has only been getting walked 4 times a week when i have time to take him to the trail. Is it unreasonable to think about owning a dog in college?

It seems a bit far-fetched, but after losing my best friend and companion of many years (a very sweet soft coated wheaten, who passed of a heard disease at age 12), I'm itching for another dog. However, I am sadly unable to get one, as my mother doesn't have a good taste for dogs (she is more of a cat person). I have a bit of a fantasy of owning one in college, as living without pets does NOT suit me. Of course, this would not be in a dorm room, maybe an apartment or flat, or maybe even a condo close by. I'm not the type to party late into the night and be out very often, but would getting a puppy a year before college to train him, then taking him with me sound too dream-like to be fair for my new friend? I would prefer a medium to large dog that would be a jogging companion... Would this be an unfair life for the poor dog to be my companion while I'm still in school?

Why are so many young men choosing to remain bachelor's and seem bitter at women and even mock men who marry?

I am a 35 year old Professional male attorney.I am happy in life,love my job and fiancee. I am getting married in December. It seems that a lot of my friends from college and at work who range in age from 25-45 are refusing to get married and seem bitter at women. On fellow coworker who is an Attorney as well stated to me that if I get divorced I will lose half my money and custody of children(I want kids). Many of my friends, who are considered handsome guys with money have absolutely stated they will not marry wahtsoever and some have given up on women completely. My friend who I will call "Jeff" is advising me not to get married that most marriages end in divorce.Jeff has been hurt by women in the past(His last girlfriend of 5 yrs left him for another guy).Jeff claims he was a "nice guy" and his ex girlfriend left him for a "jerk" who treat her badly.I told Jeff that not all women are like that and a good marriage can be a beautiful thing.It seems like these guys just want to remain bachelors and some of them I think really hate women cause they have been hurt. I feel like as a man getting married a target of ridicule by other men.I rarely bring my fiancee around these guys inasmuch as she feels a hostility from them. It really doesn't matter what these men think of me and I am not sure I even want to be friends with them anymore. My only concern is the future for my kids(I do want kids). Advise or similar stories welcomed......WARNING:it is long!?

My LMP was May 23 and my cycles range from 28(rare)-37(rare) days long with most of my cycles being about 33-35 days. My hubby and I did our little baby dance every day to every other during the week of June 6th-14th which should have been prime ovulating time. We were on vacation and in the ocean/pool every day all day so I didn't notice any stretchy/sticky cm but I do get it every single month! I do not temp. but I did use ovulation sticks and would get two lines but the test was never as dark as the control so either I missed my surge, my urine was too dilute or I didn't ovulate(which I doubt). I forget the exact date but around the 17th of this month I felt a sharp pinch on my right side and I was thinking ovulation or implantation. I took another OPK and got two lines again with the test still lighter than the control. Since then I have had cramping(especially on right side), alternating diarrhea and constipation, tiredness, increased urination, and still no period but the real kicker is my boob KILL! My boobs never hurt before my period but they kill on the sides, nipple is itchy and they feel fuller. Today is day 36 and still no period. I took a first response early pregnancy test this evening and it was negative. I will re-test in a couple days which feels like forever. I honestly feel pregnant. I have occasional bouts of some scant nauseous feeling but it never stays. Anyone else test negative with the early tests and still end up pregnant? what do you think? Please do not be rude and say "just test" because that is not what I am asking!

Your SAT score indicates that you are just finishing the work, but not really understanding or thinking about your work. Let's be real. Getting into colleges like Berkeley is EXTREMELY competitive. You need to re-take the SAT or ACT and study for it. Work on your essays for entrance. When you get out of college you will be competing for jobs, so you had better get used to it.

Singing range after puberty?

A lot of my friends and I are very curious about this. So I am 16, I had this high kiddy voice till about 14, then my voice really dropped. Now I can hit the really low notes, but the high ones do not feel as comfortable. My voice has a very deep undertone, but still sounds like a kid (that's the best way to describe it). Most of my friends that are my age have this same problem as well. Now I have an 18 year old friend who sings, and is done with puberty, and has a great range. Also, many of the bands I listen have singers that are about 20, such as a day to remember, blink 182, and four year strong. I know that NOW these signers are older, but plenty of the recordings and live videos i listen to they were in their early 20's, and could sing quite high. So what I am wondering is, after puberty, will my voice settle, and 'll regain the easier upper register i used to have. I know it wont be like my kiddie voice, but at least a better range again???

Jimi Hendrix Mcfarlane Figure?

A couple years back I walked the isles of my local FYE and saw some Jimi Hendrix Mcfarlane action figures. Back then I wasn't much into hendrix and didn't think much of it. Fast forward a couple years, I am now a huge Jimi Hendrix fan and recently remembered the neat potential desk ornament. But to my dismay, the prices of these now coveted toys have skyrocketed to over 100 dollars!! What is the Clear film that built up in my fish tank?

So i had a fish tank set up, and before i moved (for about a month) i gave my fish to someone and didnt do anything about the water (I know its bad, but it was so hectic moving i didnt have time). Anyway, i just restarted my tank at my new place and i have been trying to cycle the tank. All appropriate chemicals have been added to start a new tank, but now there is a clear "film" over every surface in the tank. It also looks like there are hundreds of "Particles" floating around in the tank. All the levels (Ph, ammonia, nitrate and nitrite) are within normal range, and the tank has been thouroughly scrubbed before i readded water. I tried to put small fish in there to test out the water and they all died within 24 hours. Im at a loss for whats going on, so if anyone can please help me, i really want my fish back...

Question about Lymphocytes?

I had a blood test done and my absolute lymphocytes are 4162, the normal range is from 850-3900; I have a nodule in my thyroid that measures 1.25 and has atypical cells. Could this be the reason for my lymphocytes being higher than normal in my blood test? Is this something really bad?

How do you get rid of scars?

I used to cut, and now I have a bunch of scars on my wrist. It's really awkward when my friends or family see it because I don't really know what to say, and usually end up giving a vague and kind of far-fetched excuse. I know a lot of people say that using Vitamin E or Aloe Vera or Cocoa Butter helps, but I'm a teenager and I can't exactly go up to my parents and ask them to get these things for no reason. I'm wondering if there are any other ways to get rid of scars (not cover them up) using things that I can find around the house, or if there are any methods that will help me get rid of my scars?
